Veteran's Corner

Continuing the Mission

Service doesn’t end after leaving the military. Through education, community involvement, and supporting fellow veterans, MB&G aims to continue serving the Lowcountry in a new way.

Outreach Mission Statement

The Veteran’s Corner exists to share helpful information and connect veterans with resources, opportunities, and support in the Summerville area and beyond. This space is meant for those looking to learn more about benefits, entrepreneurship, and building a sustainable path after military service.

Much like a crew chief helps coordinate the right people and tools to accomplish a mission, this page simply serves as a starting point to help connect veterans with the information and organizations that can move them forward.

From USAF to MB&G

MB&G was founded by a United States Air Force veteran who served as a B-1B Crew Chief supporting operations during Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. Military service teaches discipline, systems thinking, and attention to detail—values that continue to guide how MB&G approaches lawn education and serving the Lowcountry community.

Veteran Support Resources

Navigating VA benefits and disability claims can be complicated. Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) help veterans understand and access the benefits they earned through service. If you’re a veteran in the Charleston and Summerville area, these organizations can help guide you through the process.

Veterans & Entreprenuership

Many veterans carry the discipline, accountability, and mission-focused mindset developed during military service into the next chapter of their lives. For some, that path includes entrepreneurship and building something of their own. This section aims to highlight opportunities, ideas, and resources that can help veterans explore self-sustainment, small business ownership, and new directions after service.
